GWERIN OWAIN - OWAIN'S FOLK.

In Tribute and Remembrance of the Post 1282/3/4 Conquest 'Colonial Underclass', many of whom continued Welsh Resistence as Outlaws - 'Adar y Greim'. Following they the 'Barefoot Welsh Doggis'- Glyndwr's Peasant Army who the Wars end with their families became 'Y Gwerin Owain'. To Post 1536 'Banditti Cambria', Common Land Squatters and Small holders who fought against enclosures and famine in Corn Riots. a tribute to this tradition of Popular Protest and Struggle continued to this day.
